Our Story
For years, retail veteran and founder of RelatED Education, Leigh Blochlinger, grappled with a critical issue in the wholesale and retail sectors: the lack of essential skills. Driven by this, Leigh teamed up with Derick Gideons. What started as a consultation between two seasoned professionals evolved into Retail Relate, one of South Africa’s largest and best retail training providers. In 2018, we rebranded to RelatED Education, reflecting our commitment to future skills development across various industries, not just wholesale and retail.
Over the past 14 years, we have partnered with some of South Africa’s largest and most forward-thinking retail companies. These partnerships are built on a shared passion for skills development and a commitment to cultivating the next generation of exceptional retailers. Our clients trust us to handle advertising, recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching for their skills development initiatives. Our hands-on approach has been crucial to our success, enabling us to train and upskill individuals across all 9 provinces, from urban areas to rural and remote communities.
